📋 Description

• Guide families from initial inquiry through confirmed start of care • Proactively follow up via phone, text, and email • Ensure all required information and documents are completed on time • Help families navigate insurance requirements, including Tricare ECHO enrollment and referrals • Coordinate benefit verification and communicate next steps • Partner with billing and insurance operations to resolve issues • Explain patient responsibility, coverage, and expected costs • Set expectations around timelines, requirements, and readiness for care • Build trust while maintaining urgency and accountability • Work with billing, operations, and partnerships to move cases forward • Surface blockers early and drive resolution • Ensure clean handoffs when families are ready to start care • Assess family fit with Alpaca’s model and providers • Flag concerns and ensure alignment before services begin • Maintain accurate records and tracking across systems • Identify patterns, bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve intake workflows • Take on additional responsibilities to improve speed and quality of care access

🎯 Requirements

• Fluency in both Spanish and English (required) • Deep empathy combined with the ability to push when needed • Clear and confident communication, especially around complex or sensitive topics • Highly organized with relentless follow-through • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving problems in real time • Ownership mindset and ability to resolve issues proactively • Ability to navigate insurance requirements such as Tricare ECHO enrollment, referrals, and prior steps • Ability to maintain accurate records and tracking across systems
