📋 Description

• Responsible for system uptime and integrity of customer systems • Build and architect systems to maintain uptime • Document technical designs and create training materials and documentation • Monitor daily operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems • Manage installations, upgrades, and maintenance of Linux, Proxmox virtual environments, and Docker containerized environments • Work closely with DevOps to implement and scale automation of core tasks • Maintain strict security policies and guidelines to protect data assets • Test, troubleshoot, and modify information systems for effective operation • Work alongside TechOps, IT staff, IT Security, and System Administrators • Provide overnight support during the 1AM–9AM EST coverage shift

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field • Expert system administrator for Debian based distributions • Expert in computer networks, hardware, support, IT security, and tools • Experience with multiple hosting environments (cloud, bare metal, VPS) • Experience with various Databases and SQL (MySQL preferable) • Highly organized, self-starter and detail-oriented • Programming and scripting skills (Python, Bash, Ansible) • Strong and effective communication skills • Strong Linux, Proxmox, pfSense experience • Must be fluent in English • CV must be submitted in English
