📋 Description

• Develop and maintain the CCR coverage roadmap for Financial Services equities • Translate sector priorities into a structured pipeline of channel check projects aligned with investor demand, client engagement trends, and key debates across banking, insurance, and fintech • Lead development of channel check frameworks, expert sourcebase strategies, and structured questionnaires • Serve as the primary Financial Services domain expert • Maintain understanding of business models, distribution channels, and investment debates across lending, deposits, payments, insurance underwriting, and financial technology • Collaborate with Operations Managers and analysts on expert targeting, feasibility, and project structure • Identify new companies, subsectors, and channel check opportunities within the Financial Services ecosystem • Map value chains and identify expert networks supporting ongoing research • Oversee CCR project development and execution • Guide a team of analysts conducting structured channel checks • Leverage AlphaSense’s AI interviewer technology to design and scale primary research workflows • Provide research quality oversight and ensure questionnaires, expert sourcebases, and research outputs meet quality, consistency, and end-user value standards • Refine research frameworks and improve workflows with cross-functional teams

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in equity research, market intelligence, consulting, or a related analytical role • Exposure to Financial Services, including banking, insurance, fintech, or adjacent sectors • Strong domain knowledge of Financial Services, including key companies, business models, distribution channels, and investment debates across lending, deposits, payments, underwriting, and financial technology • Experience designing primary research frameworks and questionnaires that translate industry knowledge into structured, repeatable insights • Experience ideally within a channel check or expert interview context • Highly analytical and intellectually curious • Ability to quickly develop expertise across new companies and subsectors • Ability to identify where channel checks can generate differentiated, investable insights • Comfortable working cross-functionally with research leadership, operations teams, and analysts • Ability to ensure projects are well-structured, feasible, and executed to a consistently high standard
