📋 Description

• Own the product vision for Altana’s Product Passports as connective tissue between PLM, ERP, and trade compliance systems • Define how as-designed, as-sourced, and as-built BOM views are reconciled and maintained • Design workflows for propagating product changes across commercial documents, classifications, and regulatory filings • Own the product vision for structured product data flowing from SKU definition through commercial invoice, advance ship notice, and customs entry • Identify manual processes that can be automated, validated, or eliminated • Build prioritization cases using data, customer evidence, and working prototypes • Translate PLM implementation and ERP configuration experience into product requirements and features • Define a machine-readable product model covering components, materials, suppliers, and origin determinations • Serve as internal authority on enterprise product data across the supply chain lifecycle • Use AI tools to prototype workflows, generate explanations, and test ideas with customers and engineers • Explore AI applications for BOM extraction, discrepancy reconciliation, classification recommendations, and origin-risk detection • Create demos, mockups, and AI-assisted visualizations to align stakeholders • Engage enterprise product engineers, trade compliance teams, procurement leaders, and ERP/PLM administrators • Work with government-facing product teams to align enterprise product data with CBP tools • Collaborate with engineering on API design and data schemas integrating PLM, ERP, logistics networks, and Product Passports

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with PLM and ERP systems in an enterprise manufacturing, sourcing, or trade compliance context • Hands-on experience with PLM and/or ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Teamcenter, Windchill, Arena, or equivalent • Deep familiarity with multi-level, configurable, and as-built bill of materials structures • Working knowledge of product data flows into commercial invoices, packing lists, advance ship notices, and customs entries • Experience with PLM-ERP integration, including item master synchronization, BOM transfer, and ECO/ECN workflows • Familiarity with trade compliance data requirements and customs-related workflows • Comfortable discussing data structures, API design, and integration architecture with engineers • Active use of AI tools for drafting, prototyping, analysis, and explanation • Experience with data modeling, integration architecture, or enterprise system implementation is a strong plus • Prior product management, business analysis, or enterprise technology strategy experience is a strong plus • Ability to explain BOM reconciliation and data integration concepts to technical and trade compliance audiences • No educational credential is explicitly required
