📋 Description

• Drive new business growth by identifying, developing, and closing strategic partnership opportunities across sponsorship, advertising, research, events, executive engagement, and other AMA assets • Build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline through strategic prospecting, networking, referrals, and market research • Consistently achieve revenue goals • Develop consultative partnership solutions tailored to client business objectives • Collaborate across the organization to develop, deliver, and optimize partnership opportunities • Share market insights that shape future growth strategies • Grow long-term partner relationships by demonstrating ROI, identifying expansion opportunities, and driving renewals • Maintain accurate Salesforce records, forecasts, proposals, contracts, and other sales documentation

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience in B2B consultative sales, partnerships, or business development with a track record of closing new business • Experience prospecting, building pipeline, and managing opportunities through the full sales cycle • Experience selling sponsorships, media, advertising, events, research, or marketing solutions • Experience selling into enterprise organizations or Fortune 1000 companies • Strong relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills with executive-level stakeholders • 5 years of experience using Salesforce or another CRM to manage pipeline and forecast accurately • Highly self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and a bias toward action • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop compelling client proposals • Must live in Alabama, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, or Wisconsin • Must not require H1-B sponsorship • Familiarity with nonprofit, association, higher education, or membership organizations is highly preferred • Existing network of marketing and/or HR and talent decision-makers
