📋 Description

• Drive sales growth of AMADA tooling and accessories around the Columbus, Ohio area • Develop new business opportunities • Expand existing customer relationships • Increase tooling sales among AMADA customers purchasing tooling from competitors • Apply engineering and technical expertise to identify customer needs • Recommend effective tooling solutions and communicate AMADA product value and benefits • Prepare and present tooling quotations • Support existing AMADA customers • Expand the machine tooling market • Provide technical guidance and application support to customers • Provide status reports and call reports to the Tooling Sales Manager • Quote and process tooling quotes into the system • Maintain knowledge of product information and pricing • Prepare special reports as needed • Assist with miscellaneous departmental duties

🎯 Requirements

• Strong product knowledge and engineering and technical expertise • Ability to identify customer needs and recommend effective tooling solutions • Computer knowledge, including word processing and spreadsheets • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software products, including PowerPoint and Excel, for sales presentations • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Detail-oriented • Engineering degree in a related field highly preferred, or high school diploma/equivalent with tooling sales work experience will be considered • Frequent travel in the Columbus, OH territory and throughout the state • Ability to work harmoniously with others • Ability to accept and follow instructions • Ability to lift an average weight of 25 pounds unassisted daily
