📋 Description

• Oversee the Project Engineering Group • Determine which requests become active projects • Assign projects and manage Engineers’ workload • Assist Engineers with problems and provide guidance • Interact with Plant Managers and other Directors to ensure needs are met • Act as technical counterpart to the Commercial Lead or Manufacturing Plant • Control project cost, scope, timeline, and specifications • Develop, execute, and maintain project plans within approved time, budget, and scope • Make strategic and activity-definition changes to achieve project results • Keep projects on time and within budget using intelligent risk management • Report time, cost, and deliverable deviations to senior management • Adhere to Amcor, industry, and regulatory procedures • Close projects and conduct post-project reviews • Manage large, complex, and long-term projects • Coordinate project activities from concept, quoting, sourcing, justification, capital request, management, and verification • Promote safety, security, quality conformity, and continual improvement

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related work experience • Experience handling large multi-million-dollar projects • Experience researching new technologies, evaluating, and providing recommendations • Strong time management and communication skills (written and verbal) • Strong project management/organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously • Proven leadership abilities • Assertive, creative and data driven • Software experience with Solidworks, AutoCAD, MS Project, and Office • Ability to travel 50% of time (some international travel is required) • Preferred: Knowledge of the many machines within the group • Preferred: Experience with industry standards and project management • Preferred: Experience with Cast and Blown Film
