📋 Description

• Oversee and manage vendor-based distribution-related electric and civil construction and support crews • Manage contractor work in accordance with applicable contracts and agreements • Investigate and resolve customer complaints • Ensure vendor field supervision enforces Ameren policies, practices and safety rules • Provide input to project planning and design • Manage and evaluate contractor crews engaged in electric system construction, maintenance and inspection • Set contractor performance expectations for safety and quality through observations and audits • Maintain contact with contractor supervisors to assess manpower, equipment, tools and material needs • Schedule, assign and manage work safely, efficiently and effectively • Monitor and control project budgets and schedules • Provide budgetary cost tracking documentation and construction timeline schedules • Document project scope changes and provide project updates • Coordinate activities with customers, contractors, external stakeholders and company departments • Enforce WPA and safety rules and conduct safety observations • Enforce corporate policies with contractor crews • Contribute to department and function goals • Identify and implement operational improvements to control costs and improve productivity and quality

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required • Five or more years of relevant experience in electric transmission or electric distribution required • OR five or more years of relevant experience in a heavy industrial or military environment, including a minimum of three years in a supervisor role required • Knowledge of Microsoft Office • General computer skills • Proficiency with mobile devices • Proficiency with project construction schedules • Must be adaptable and flexible • Overnight travel may be required for multiple days per week • Subject to call-out and overtime as required for emergency storm restoration and project work • Bachelor's degree preferred • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management related discipline preferred • Journeyman line or journeyman substation experience preferred • Utility experience preferred • Supervisory or team/contractor leadership experience preferred • Experience with Renewable Development projects preferred • Strong leadership, management, analytical, communication and human relations skills preferred • Project and/or Construction Management skills preferred • Basic knowledge of APImaging, CCTM, TRIS, OAS, DOJM, and ArcGIS systems preferred
