📋 Description

• Perform daily operations, including daily logs of the fuel yard, boilers, and turbine generator • Perform housekeeping duties, basic care routes, and basic preventative maintenance of power plant equipment • Drive heavy equipment including bobcat, forklift, front-end loader, and Lull • Operate controls of a Stacker–Reclaimer • Operate power plant equipment in the field and control room via DCS • Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, regulatory, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, and codes • Ensure environmental compliance in assigned areas • Perform other duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or GED • Minimum 2 years’ experience with operations and troubleshooting of industrial equipment • Must be able to obtain and maintain an entry badge to the Savannah River Site • Ability to successfully complete position training and testing requirements • Basic computer skills including e-mail and data entry using Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel • Valid Drivers' License issued by state of residence and in good standing • May be required for ‘on call’ support or varied schedule needs • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs & transport equipment & tools in excess of 300 lbs • Ability to routinely climb ladders, walk up and down sloped ramps and work on elevated platforms • Ability to work rotating shift on days, nights, weekends, and holidays • Power plant experience preferred
