📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end delivery of cross-functional initiatives using project management discipline and Agile practices • Serve as Scrum Master when needed, removing blockers and driving continuous improvement • Lead the strategic application and evolution of Agile across multiple teams • Coordinate Agile teams and complex initiatives across product, engineering, and business stakeholders • Define and enforce delivery governance, quality standards, and delivery best practices • Manage project risks, dependencies, scope, competing priorities, and executive escalations • Establish data-driven delivery metrics including velocity, predictability, throughput, and outcome-based KPIs • Lead cross-functional teams and maintain accurate project documentation • Communicate delivery insights and actionable updates to executive leadership • Manage project financials, forecasting, budgets, and costs • Align delivery outcomes with business objectives and conduct post-implementation reviews • Champion Agile maturity, team effectiveness, and adoption of Agile principles • Mentor Scrum Masters, less-experienced Project Managers, and team members • Make delivery decisions balancing scope, timeline, cost, and quality • Build executive stakeholder relationships, influence priorities, resolve conflicts, and drive alignment • Identify and address risks and issues while communicating project information to IT management • Develop team structures, distribute responsibilities, share lessons learned, and implement best practices • Lead internal improvement opportunities and execute improvement plans • Deliver measurable outcomes including operational efficiency, student experience, and system performance improvements • Lead change-management activities and adoption of new processes, tools, and capabilities • Partner with Product Management and Product Owners on priorities, roadmaps, and delivery capacity • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of relevant education and experience • PMP or CSM certification or relevant experience • 5+ years serving in a Scrum Master or Agile leadership capacity across multiple teams • 6–8 years of experience in Project Management or related fields • Demonstrated success leading large initiatives through influence in matrixed organizations without direct authority • Experience leading large, complex, enterprise-scale projects and strategic initiatives involving multiple cross-functional teams • Proven ability to lead multiple teams and programs in a dynamic, fast-paced environment • Experience presenting to and influencing executive leadership • Experience with Agile project management and Scrum implementation frameworks • Thorough understanding of IT service offerings, technical preferences, and technical direction • Deep expertise in Agile tooling, such as Azure DevOps • Experience managing delivery across CRM, SIS, and marketing automation platforms • Ability to break business needs into Epics, Features, and User Stories • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Thorough knowledge of business principles, processes, and technology • Strong knowledge of Teams, Word, Excel, OneNote, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Ability to work with virtual and global cross-functional teams • Experience with systems and business processes supporting new product introductions • Knowledge of Scrum Agile frameworks and project management methodologies • Strong analytical, budgetary, and critical-thinking skills • Experience establishing delivery governance, managing project risks and dependencies, and driving outcomes for complex initiatives • Experience with a PPM solution • Expert knowledge of identifying and communicating opportunities for change to IT management • Experience in high-growth small-to-midsize companies, preferably in Higher Education, strongly preferred • Comfortable working remotely and collaborating virtually • Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload for the remote work location • Reliable internet service, with purchase, setup, installation, support, and maintenance the individual’s responsibility • Must support and embrace the College’s Impact mission • Exceptional communication, organization, and time-management skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
