📋 Description

• Contribute to late-stage development, medical strategy, and launch readiness within Global Medical Affairs, Rare Disease • Collaborate with the Global Medical Affairs Lead and internal cross-functional partners to develop and execute global medical strategy • Translate scientific, clinical, and external stakeholder insights into actionable medical strategies and priorities • Lead or support medical advisory boards, scientific congress activities, symposia, and scientific engagement initiatives • Establish and maintain scientific relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, patient advocacy organizations, professional societies, and external stakeholders • Lead or support global evidence-generation activities, including real-world evidence initiatives • Contribute to product lifecycle management, launch readiness, and post-launch medical initiatives • Provide strategic medical input to clinical development programs, interpret emerging data, and identify evidence gaps • Disseminate clinical and scientific data through publications, congress presentations, and medical communications • Support value dossiers and HEOR activities with medical input • Collaborate with commercial teams on promotional materials, marketing campaigns, and training programs while ensuring regulatory and ethical compliance • Ensure medical affairs activities comply with laws, industry regulations, and company policies • Serve as global medical affairs representative on cross-functional teams and provide strategic support to the GMAL • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in global tracking systems • Foster Amgen’s science-driven, innovative, and patient-centered reputation

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of Medical Affairs experience OR Master’s degree and 4 years of Medical Affairs experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of Medical Affairs experience OR Associate’s degree and 10 years of Medical Affairs experience OR high school diploma/GED and 12 years of Medical Affairs experience • Preferred PharmD, PhD, MD, or DO • Experience in Medical Affairs within rare disease, immunology, rheumatology, or autoimmune disease preferred • Experience with advisory boards, congresses, external expert engagement, evidence generation, and scientific communications preferred • Strategic launch experience and familiarity with product lifecycle management preferred • Strength in project management and scientific communication • Ability to foster cross-functional partnerships with Commercial, Clinical Development, and other partners • Ability to work effectively and influence within a global matrixed organization • Willingness to travel; approximately 30% may be required • Sponsorship is not guaranteed
