📋 Description

• Partner in developing the annual strategy update for Amgen's Board of Directors. • Lead enterprise initiatives that address important business opportunities and challenges, partnering across functions to develop thoughtful recommendations and concise, compelling communications for senior leadership. • Conduct market, competitive, portfolio, and financial analyses, while evaluating industry trends, competitive dynamics, emerging technologies, and other external developments to inform executive decision-making. • Mentor and develop junior team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 4 years of healthcare business experience OR Master’s degree and 7 years of healthcare business experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of healthcare business experience • Advanced degree in Life Sciences; MBA preferred. • Experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, corporate development, or a comparable role within the biopharmaceutical or healthcare industry. • Strong understanding of the global biopharmaceutical industry, healthcare ecosystem, and competitive landscape. • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and influence decision-making. • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills, including experience developing materials for senior leadership. • Strong analytical and financial skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into practical business recommendations. • Experience working effectively across functions and building alignment without direct authority. • Experience managing and developing high-performing team members. • Intellectual curiosity, sound judgment, integrity, and a collaborative leadership style.
