📋 Description

• Assist with overseeing AMP Transmission system operations, maintenance, and field services • Execute and implement processes, procedures, and documentation to ensure facilities are maintained and operated within regulatory compliance and good utility practices • Provide operational and maintenance guidance on AMPT-owned assets, construction projects, and potential new projects • Participate in field operation and maintenance activities • Assist with developing requests for proposals and vetting, selecting, and managing third-party companies and contractors • Provide technical direction to companies and contractors • Assist in managing AMPT-Member O&M agreements, including annual budgets, payment schedules, spare-part inventories, and mutual-service opportunities • Assist in implementing and managing asset management and emergency preparedness programs • Assist in developing and maintaining maintenance files and databases • Collaborate with Transmission Planning and Transmission Engineering on capital projects • Assist in implementing equipment ratings and guidelines for electric equipment • Assist in developing the annual transmission operations and maintenance budget • Collaborate with transmission engineering, planning, project management, departments, and stakeholders • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Two-year degree in engineering or related field preferred; other combinations of skills and experience may be accepted upon review • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electric transmission field services, maintenance or operations preferred; similar fields may be considered • Knowledge of North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Reliability standards, processes and compliance obligations preferred • Experience with Maximo computerized maintenance management system software applications preferred • Deadline/critical path orientation and ability to prioritize • Strong verbal, written, and computer skills • Previous success building effective business relationships • Positive attitude and ability to work well within a small team • Must successfully complete FERC Standards of Conduct compliance training within 30 days of employment • Willingness to travel to assigned project locations throughout the AMP Transmission footprint • Residence in northwestern Ohio desired
