📋 Description

• Audit RCM accounts worked by staff daily to ensure accuracy under QA policies and procedures • Gather documentation issues for educational feedback • Document and maintain QA findings • Complete and distribute monthly summary reports based on daily findings • Communicate quality deficiencies to staff using the Quality Review process • Provide additional details about errors to management or staff when necessary • Identify and trend common errors and deficiencies and report them to management • Review processes and procedures with department management to improve efficiency and resolve accounts fully • Assist with the department’s training process regarding QA policy • Follow information systems security policies and procedures, attend security training, and report security problems • Review trends for missing documentation, denials, and other RCM KPIs • Report possible payor, system, or staff issues to management • Respond to inquiries from other departments • Train new staff and provide QA feedback • Complete the QA summary file • Support and abide by company values, policies, compliance requirements, and mandatory training programs

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required • Associate degree in RHIT preferred • Five (5) or more years of related RCM QA audit experience and/or training preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Working knowledge of an RCM billing system • Good computer skills • Ability to work on multiple screens simultaneously • Ability to use zoom in and zoom out features • Ability to comply with information systems security policies and procedures • Ability to follow company code of conduct, ethics statements, employee handbooks, policies, corporate mandates, and compliance requirements
