📋 Description

• Drive strategic supply network development and cost management for Anduril’s Counter Intrusion product portfolio across its lifecycles • Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams in engineering, quality, and manufacturing • Conduct supplier selection using the approved supplier list • Partner with strategic suppliers on concept scoping, feature trade-offs, should-cost/clean-sheet models, joint design development, and mechanical/electronics design simulation • Develop and consolidate the manufacturing BOM for internal and supplier production ramps • Manage CAPEX throughout NPI • Conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply-network lead time and flexibility • Complete BOM risk assessments, including alternate component sourcing • Ensure component qualifications are completed before production • Optimize commonality and rationalize components and suppliers • Lead cost-engineering activities to align bottoms-up cost with product cost and maximize lifecycle TCO • Manage tariff, import/export cost, and cost-inflation issues

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field • 6+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices • Domain expertise of value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at the component and product level • Ability to travel 30%–40% of the time, variable based on program needs • Ability to work remotely in Michigan; preference is to be onsite at an Anduril office • Familiarity with developing high-tech products in a high-mix, low-volume environment • Exposure to working in a fast-paced, start-up environment • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance • Preferred: Master’s degree or advanced technical degree in mechanical engineering • Preferred: deeper experience in electronics and/or mechanical device design and development, advanced sourcing, supplier development, early supplier engagement
