📋 Description

• Perform IT procurement activities, including gathering business requirements, pre-qualifying vendors, developing and distributing RFPs and RFQs, evaluating proposals and recommending vendors • Issue purchase orders, process and code invoices, prepare check requests, and reconcile purchases • Conduct vendor due diligence, risk reviews, security and privacy questionnaires, contract compliance tracking, and vendor obligation monitoring • Monitor regulatory requirements, governance framework alignment, audit activity, remediation efforts, and risk and compliance metrics • Coordinate risk reviews, policy reviews, vendor review meetings, audit status meetings, management reporting, and meetings with vendors, auditors, business staff, IT staff, and Legal • Lead project initiatives, process improvements, audit preparation efforts, and privacy-related activities • Maintain Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plan documentation in SharePoint • Coordinate and participate in annual tabletop exercises, retain evidence, track action items, and report exercise results • Assist with IT policy administration, publication, and communication • Document corrective action plans, assign ownership, monitor due dates, and validate closure evidence • Support privacy processes, maintain compliance documentation, assist with incident tracking and risk assessments, and help protect sensitive and personal information • Provide guidance, training, and support to less experienced team members

🎯 Requirements

• 2 years as a procurement or compliance analyst • Experience in purchasing, sourcing or procurement • Experience supporting privacy, compliance, risk, or audit programs • Experience with vendor management and contracting • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent related experience • Equivalent military experience accepted • Knowledge of COSO, COBIT, NIST, ISO, SOC, HIPAA, GLBA and other control frameworks • Knowledge of privacy and data protection principles • Advanced organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels • Strong Microsoft Office skills • Beginner SharePoint skills • Insurance industry experience preferred • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. • Employment visa sponsorship is unavailable
