• Lead category strategy, category management, and commercialization support for Once Upon a Farm’s Baby Portfolio • Develop annual category growth strategies aligned with company objectives • Serve as category expert using consumer, shopper, retailer, syndicated, and market insights • Develop category visions, narratives, playbooks, and customer-specific recommendations • Lead category reviews and deliver insight-led category stories to influence customer decisions • Build relationships with Sales teams and retail category managers to pursue Category Captaincies through Joint Business Planning • Identify whitespace opportunities, assortment optimization recommendations, and portfolio growth priorities • Develop and execute 4P strategies across Product, Price, Place, and Promotion • Shape portfolio architecture, assortment, pricing, distribution, shelving, and customer activation strategies • Serve as the voice of sales throughout innovation commercialization • Guide commercialization strategies, launch plans, distribution targets, and retail sell-in strategies • Support launch readiness and commercialization milestones • Align commercialization plans with customer plans and forecasts • Monitor post-launch performance and capture learnings for future launches
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Category Management, Category Development, Commercial Strategy, Sales Strategy, or related functions within the CPG industry • Proven success developing and executing category growth strategies driving market share, distribution, retailer partnerships, and profitable revenue growth • Experience using syndicated data including Circana/IRI, NielsenIQ, SPINS, Numerator, retailer POS, and shopper insights • Experience developing customer-facing category stories and retailer presentations • Strong understanding of category management principles, shopper behavior, and consumer insights • Experience supporting innovation commercialization and portfolio strategy cross-functionally • Working knowledge of the 4Ps across retail channels • Exceptional analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations • Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills • Ability to influence cross-functional partners without direct authority • Ability to lead through ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and drive results in a dynamic, high-growth environment • Passion for consumer-centric, category-leading businesses and commercial excellence • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience • Passion for improving childhood nutrition • Must reside in the United States • Visa sponsorship is not available
