📋 Description

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for new and existing clients • Prepare, submit, and monitor insurance authorizations and treatment plans • Maintain accurate insurance and authorization information in the electronic health record • Support billing by ensuring authorizations align with scheduled services • Communicate with insurance carriers regarding authorizations, benefits, and payer requirements • Research claim issues and assist with billing documentation and follow-up • Maintain accurate records while ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality • Partner with the Insurance & Billing Manager and clinical teams to support timely client services

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside in New Hampshire • Available to work Eastern Standard Time business hours • High school diploma or equivalent required • One or more years of experience in medical billing, insurance verification, revenue cycle, or healthcare administration • Experience with commercial insurance and/or Medicaid preferred • Experience in ABA, behavioral health, or pediatric healthcare is a plus but not required • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Experience with EHR systems, preferably RethinkBH, is a plus • Dedicated, quiet, and professional workspace • Reliable high-speed internet • Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and protect confidential information while working remotely • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Proactive problem-solving and strong critical thinking skills • Dependable and professional, with commitment to confidentiality • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a remote team
