📋 Description

• Work directly with the client’s E-billing Manager on ad-hoc e-bill-related management and client requests • Submit electronic invoices and accruals to clients monthly • Oversee client transitions to e-billing • Provide follow-up support to attorneys and clients on electronic billing matters • Handle high-volume, complex e-submission assignments for key corporate clients • Ensure client guidelines, internal protocols, and firm guidelines are followed during submissions • Liaise between billing attorneys/secretarial staff and clients’ electronic billing staff • Support invoice resubmissions and ensure corrective actions are implemented • Populate, maintain, and update assigned client data in billing systems and external web applications • Support e-billing systems by managing user accounts, passwords, security levels, budgets, status reports, and matter profiles • Perform ad hoc analyses of complex client accounts involving collections, rates, and reduced or rejected invoices

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree or advanced degree preferred in Business, Accounting, or Finance; commensurate experience may be considered in lieu of education • 1+ years of e-billing experience within a corporate law department or law firm • Knowledge of legal billing and middleware systems is a plus, including Legal Exchange, TyMetrix 360, Legal-X, and Serengeti/Legal Tracker • Proven knowledge and experience with BillBlast • Knowledge of Legal Electronic Data Exchange Standard (LEDES) billing formats is a plus • Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook • Ability to create, edit, and present complex data, analyses, and ad hoc reports • Strong reading comprehension, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Ability to multitask, use time efficiently, and perform professionally under tight deadlines • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and adapt to changing demands • Ability to prioritize successfully • Ability to influence or steer at senior and executive levels within and outside client groups • Availability to work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm EST • Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening is required
