📋 Description

• Partner with business and APS managers to gather and prioritize data and information requirements • Design, develop, and support business intelligence applications and architecture • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues affecting BI tool performance • Define and implement data filtering and indexing strategies • Maintain metadata repository by adding, modifying, and deleting data • Monitor and assist with processes and controls that maintain data integrity • Participate in planning, technical design, development, testing, and delivery of BI solutions • Work with internal clients and IT partners to gather requirements • Develop and write business requirements for solution design • Determine and analyze commonly used queries and reports • Assist in developing end-user training materials

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field • Two (2) years of prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience • Working technical knowledge gained through experience within a job area or system • Proficiency in Power BI and other BI tools • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams • Excellent communication and project management abilities • Knowledge of business intelligence database structures, algorithms, best practices, and auditing mechanisms • Knowledge of data warehousing and performance concepts common to complex business intelligence tools • Knowledge of change control and business intelligence agility methodologies and performance tuning practices • Experience with complex SQL inquiries and BI products such as Tableau, Business Objects, and Oracle • Knowledge of data warehouse objects, dimensions, hierarchies, fact tables, and aggregates • Knowledge of HTML and CSS • Knowledge of specialized visualization tools and database/statistical programming languages such as SQL or R • Employees are expected to reside in Arizona, or New Mexico for Four Corners-based employees • Some positions may require U.S. person status under U.S. Export Control Laws
