📋 Description

• Own full P&L accountability for the CDO business, including revenue, profitability, and growth • Set scientific and technical strategy across analytical development, formulation and process development, technology transfer, and manufacturing science and technology • Provide senior technical leadership across biologics, oral solid dose, small molecule sterile injectables, extended-release technologies, and soft chews • Represent Argenta’s technical capabilities directly to clients from business development through program delivery • Partner with Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Project Management, and Business Development • Connect technical strategy to submissions, compliance, delivery timelines, and client pursuits • Build and lead a high-performing technical organization • Shape the technical talent pipeline • Serve as an enterprise leader on Argenta’s Executive Leadership Team • Shape strategy for a rapidly growing $300M+ business

🎯 Requirements

• 20+ years of progressive experience across drug development and commercialization • Strong, demonstrable animal health drug development experience essential • PhD (or equivalent advanced degree) in Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related discipline • Deep technical credibility across analytical development and formulation/process development, ideally spanning multiple modalities • Experience with biologics, oral solid dose, small molecule sterile injectables, extended-release technologies, and soft chews • Genuine track record of P&L or general management ownership • Comfortable operating at Executive Leadership Team level and shaping enterprise strategy • Postdoctoral experience preferred • Executive MBA or equivalent preferred • Experience within a private equity-backed environment, or overseeing a multi-site/multi-country manufacturing network, is a strong plus
