📋 Description

• Lead the overall IT strategy and day-to-day technology oversight across Archwell Capital • Serve as a trusted technology partner to leadership and identify technology needs, challenges, risks, and opportunities • Provide hands-on support and guidance to smaller operating companies with limited internal IT resources • Participate in technology due diligence for potential acquisitions • Develop and execute technology integration plans following acquisitions • Lead or oversee Microsoft 365 migrations, system integrations, application rationalization, infrastructure improvements, and technology standardization • Consolidate systems, vendors, licenses, and technology services across the organization • Oversee managed service providers, consultants, software vendors, and other third-party technology partners • Ensure reliable core technology services, including email, collaboration tools, identity and access, infrastructure, networks, endpoints, and business applications • Partner with cybersecurity leadership to align technology environments with security standards • Evaluate technology contracts and vendor relationships to improve service, reduce complexity, and manage costs • Establish scalable technology processes and standards while accommodating individual operating-company requirements • Develop technology roadmaps, budgets, and investment priorities • Troubleshoot technology issues and drive problems through resolution • Provide strategic oversight of enterprise applications, platforms, integration architecture, and data capabilities • Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve productivity through technology • Establish technology architecture and integration standards • Advance responsible adoption of AI, automation, analytics, and emerging technologies • Establish and lead technology governance across Archwell Capital's family of companies • Develop enterprise technology standards, policies, architecture principles, and operating expectations • Maintain visibility into technology environments, investments, vendors, risks, capabilities, and initiatives across the portfolio • Establish reporting mechanisms for technology leaders to report metrics, risks, investments, incidents, and strategic initiatives • Review significant technology investments and transformation initiatives and provide governance and challenge • Develop relationships with CIOs, CTOs, and technology leaders throughout the family of companies • Develop and manage technology budgets, forecasts, and investment portfolios • Evaluate technology investments based on business value, cost, risk, and strategic alignment • Oversee strategic technology vendors and major commercial relationships • Build and lead a high-performing technology organization • Establish accountability, performance expectations, succession planning, and talent development • Develop partnerships with business leaders and functional executives • Foster a culture of service, innovation, disciplined execution, transparency, and continuous improvement • Manage staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and resolving complaints • Perform other related duties as assigned and comply with company policies and procedures • Maintain regular and punctual attendance

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to establish enterprise standards and governance without unnecessarily centralizing business operations • Strong financial and commercial acumen, including experience managing significant technology budgets and vendor relationships • Significant progressive leadership experience in Information Technology, Enterprise Technology, IT Operations, or a related function • Strong understanding of AI and emerging technologies, including practical business applications • Experience leading technology in a multi-company, multi-business-unit, private equity-backed, holding company, or highly acquisitive environment strongly preferred • Demonstrated experience with M&A technology due diligence and post-acquisition integration • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 environments, cloud technologies, infrastructure, enterprise applications, identity and access management, and IT operations • Experience consolidating or integrating technology environments following acquisitions or organizational changes • Experience managing MSPs and other third-party technology vendors • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and ability to partner with dedicated security leadership • Experience managing technology budgets, contracts, licensing, and vendor relationships • Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels • Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical issues into clear business language • Ability to work effectively with smaller organizations with different technology maturity and internal resources • 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including significant executive-level responsibility • Prior experience as a CIO, CTO, divisional CIO, or senior technology executive within a complex organization • Demonstrated experience developing and executing enterprise technology strategies • Experience overseeing infrastructure, cloud, enterprise applications, data, technology operations, vendor management, and major transformation initiatives • Experience operating within a holding company, investment organization, multi-company enterprise, highly decentralized organization, or similarly complex environment strongly preferred • Experience with M&A technology diligence and integration preferred • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred • None required for certificates, licenses, or registrations
