📋 Description

• Provide strategic leadership for the Tech Unit of approximately 40 employees • Set the unit’s direction, foster accountability, and establish the conditions for high-performing teams • Share responsibility with team leads for the unit’s professional and personnel development • Develop people and structures rather than programming operationally • Monitor utilization and capacity • Ensure forward-looking resource and capacity planning • Track technology trends relevant to ida and evaluate current developments and workflows for complex software projects • Drive the topic of AI from strategic positioning through to tangible benefits for ida and its clients • Align the technology vision closely with clients and act as a sparring partner • Challenge and constructively scrutinize effort estimates and technical concepts for larger projects and tenders • Support realistic planning and high-quality execution • As a central member of ida’s management team, help shape the agency’s strategic direction and portfolio development • Take responsibility for relevant KPIs and budgets

🎯 Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in an agile environment • Experience managing managers • Manager and enabler mindset rather than an operational developer role • Strong communication skills, reliability, and initiative • Ability to honor commitments and drive initiatives forward independently • Solve problems independently rather than merely identifying them • Strong understanding of technology • Keen awareness of technology trends, tools, and practices, as well as their business relevance • Deep hands-on coding experience is explicitly not required • Extensive network in the tech industry and willingness to continue expanding it • Experience in a digital agency and/or media company is advantageous, but not essential • Applications should include a CV, earliest possible start date, and salary expectations
