📋 Description

• Successfully deliver localization and other language services projects to assigned clients within quality, profitability, and schedule targets • Liaise with delivery teams to support successful project management execution • Create project plans and manage project task costs from quotation through completion • Identify and define project scope, tasks, and revenue • Monitor project budgets and ensure timely invoice issuance • Maintain project margins and monitor project costs • Manage time, workflow, budget, quality, and KPIs • Monitor vendor costs to achieve project profit targets • Provide quotes using quoting guidelines • Analyze project risks and implement mitigation plans and contingencies • Identify project gaps and inefficiencies and execute corrective actions • Lead internal and external meetings, including production syncs, report-outs, quarterly business reviews, and post-mortems • Create and maintain project and process documentation • Manage terminology and ensure correct creation, maintenance, and archiving • Maintain clean, current, correctly labeled, and properly stored translation memories • Ensure client satisfaction, repeat business, and healthy client relationships • Develop client relationships, identify needs and improvement opportunities, and support business growth with the commercial team • Handle client complaints and contribute to corrective action plans • Keep clients informed about project progress and issues • Initiate and attend client calls • Identify additional revenue streams with the direct manager and commercial team • Advise the commercial team on project requirements for prospective business • Follow and improve new-client onboarding processes • Use available technology to maximize client-account efficiency • Collaborate with colleagues across different time zones • Attend calls with suppliers, clients, and other departments • Monitor project-team work quality and ensure deliverables meet or exceed client expectations • Escalate project issues and concerns and work toward successful resolution • Liaise with the quality team to develop program quality strategies • Investigate client complaints and recommend corrective and preventive actions

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum Degree level education • At least 5 years’ experience in a project management role in the language services industry • Proven experience managing complex projects successfully • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented and a positive, proactive mindset to problem-solving • Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and lead others in a fast-paced work environment • Strong track record in using CAT, project management, and localization management tools and applications • Commercial, negotiation, and financial skills to analyze and control costs to maximize profitability • Strong computer skills, experience in Office 365 and other Microsoft applications • Previous experience in translation, CAT tools, and localization is advantageous • Superior English skills with demonstrated experience of active participation in client review meetings • Must be able to effectively communicate with senior management levels both internally and with clients • Proven ability to effectively prepare and present reports, business information, correspondence and procedures and respond to questions from clients, stakeholders, and teams
