📋 Description

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Financial Aid operations, business processes, data requirements, and supporting technology systems • Identify opportunities for increased efficiency • Serve as the primary liaison between Financial Aid stakeholders and technical teams • Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements • Evaluate processes and workflows and recommend technology solutions or process enhancements • Assess feasibility of system enhancements and new technology initiatives • Define functional requirements and ensure solutions meet user, student, and regulatory requirements • Translate business requirements into system specifications, workflows, and scalable technical solutions • Collaborate with stakeholders and senior leadership to review solutions, build consensus, and support adoption of system changes • Conduct technical and functional testing • Create and maintain process documentation and system-utilization resources • Deliver technical guidance, training, mentoring, and ongoing support • Monitor system performance and recommend or implement improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field or equivalent skills and experience required • 2+ years’ experience as a business or applications analyst or comparable experience • 2+ years’ experience with SQL • Demonstrated advocacy for technology and identifying technical opportunities to enhance end-user experience • Excellent customer service skills • Ability to work and communicate with all levels of the organization • Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills • Strong organizational and planning skills • Ability to manage shifting priorities and commitments productively • Nice to have: 4+ years of related software development experience • Nice to have: Demonstrated experience with Scrum/Agile
