📋 Description

• Generate sales of products and equipment to existing veterinarians and new customers within an assigned territory • Plan and make sales calls and select products and programs that motivate customers to buy • Call on target, current, and prospective customers to generate sales, improve market share, and increase income for AVS • Utilize the computer as a sales aid, including Outlook and the Arthrex Veterinary website • Understand veterinarian and clinic needs and select products and services to satisfy those needs • Establish relationships with veterinarians and clinics • Review and utilize sales analysis in pre- and post-call planning • Prepare and maintain a written call cycle consistent with territory changes and share information with Arthrex Management • Stay current on Arthrex products and services • Demonstrate competency in Arthrex sales programs, products, and techniques • Establish customer account profiles within the territory • Respond to communications from customers and team members • Detail and demonstrate new products and techniques for customers • Submit reporting timely • Meet sales goals and budget numbers • Act as a resource to customers regarding Arthrex products • Maintain adequate support material and detail aids in the automobile • Participate in conference calls and meetings • Supervise a Vet Systems Associate for the assigned region

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required • Bachelor’s degree preferred • 3 years of outside sales experience required; preferably in animal health • Knowledge of company’s products, pricing practices, and selling skills • Effective management skills with ability to manage the company’s sales operations • Effective time management, communications, decision making, presentation, and organization skills • Excellent writing, editing, communications, and interpersonal skills • Professional appearance and presentation required • Strong knowledge and usage of Microsoft Office • PC and various software proficiency as required • Cognos and Salesforce.com experience a plus • Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time
