📋 Description

• Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing engineering team • Provide architectural leadership for secure, scalable Java microservices and cloud-native applications • Partner with product management and business stakeholders to define technical roadmaps, balance technical debt, and streamline project delivery • Enforce engineering standards for code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and cybersecurity • Oversee production health and incident response • Maintain system availability and resolve root causes for operational issues

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Programming or substantially related field is required • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required • 8 years of software engineering experience developing enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture • 3 years of direct experience leading or managing technical engineering teams, including delivery oversight and technical decision-making • Documented experience building, deploying, or supporting scalable applications within a major public cloud platform such as GCP, AWS, or Azure • Strong experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating microservices using synchronous and asynchronous communication patterns • 5 years of experience preferred • 1 year of leadership or management experience preferred
