• Oversee the daily operations of assigned Operations Team members • Coordinate with the Director, VP of Operations, and People Team on staffing and staff concerns • Collaborate with RSD, DCD, and Clinical Ops teams to meet or exceed client expectations and resolve issues timely and accurately • Conduct ongoing research to maintain current industry knowledge • Participate in client meetings as requested • Facilitate and participate in internal leadership meetings • Use reports to manage inventory and ensure service line KPIs are met • Review team members’ caseloads daily, balance inventory, and adjust assignments to meet goals and metrics • Review high-dollar inventory to ensure accounts progress efficiently toward payment or resolution • Conduct monthly reviews of aged accounts • Ensure payments are properly posted for each client • Review accounts for closure • Identify and report hospital and payer trends • Complete staff evaluations and establish performance goals with the Director of Operations • Support staff development and training by identifying opportunities, preparing materials, conducting sessions, and mentoring staff • Manage time-off and PTO requests in the payroll system and shared calendars • Provide mentoring and guidance to team members • Monitor staff productivity and quality and discuss findings with team members • Identify and report productivity issues and staffing needs • Conduct interviews and make selection decisions • Conduct team meetings, including agendas and meeting minutes • Complete other projects and tasks as needed or requested
• High School Diploma or equivalent required • Bachelor’s degree preferred • Minimum of 2 years of responsible leadership experience in management or supervisory position preferred • Minimum of 2 years related industry experience required • Minimum of 6 months experience as an Appeals Specialist or above level at Aspirion required • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and professional • Ability to multi-task and switch effectively between tasks • Ability to produce results through delegation • Effective coaching and mentoring skills • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong organizational and time management skills • Keen attention to detail • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Experience working in various client systems and payer portals • Proven ability to meet deadlines • Ability to work independently • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Social perceptiveness and emotional intelligence • Ability to work effectively with teams at every level of an organization • Advanced understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle industry • Track record of high performance • Understanding of data quality • Must be located in the United States; US remote-based colleagues are not permitted to work outside the United States without prior written approval • Must adhere to HIPAA, privacy, confidentiality, applicable laws, and company policies
