• Perform business analysis to support project managers and business leads in defining project scope and objectives. • Facilitate meetings with subject matter experts to organize work and priorities. • Document meetings and take meeting minutes. • Review and analyze existing business requirements and processes. • Develop business requirements based on customer interviews and workshops. • Re-engineer business processes to meet new business requirements. • Elicit information, functional specifications, and design criteria from key stakeholders through oral and written communication. • Document design principles, processes, models, and standards addressing business requirements and goals. • Participate in enterprise strategy sessions, strategic assessments, and design reviews to validate enterprise approaches and work products. • Create and edit technical documentation such as user guides, UAT guides, CSOM, Concept of Operations, Business Case, and Alternatives Analysis deliverables. • Apply common industry best practices to the customer. • Perform other duties as assigned.
• A bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Science or closely related field or equivalent experience is required. • A minimum of 6 years' experience working as a Business Analyst in an enterprise environment. • Candidates without degrees can be considered with a minimum of 11 years' relevant experience. • Strong technical writing skills, with the ability to concisely describe requirements and detailed functional requirements. • Ability to create detailed specifications for complex IT system modernization and business process improvement. • Advanced working knowledge of MS Office (Office 365), SharePoint, and Microsoft Visio. • Experience with Agile methodologies, especially Scaled Agile (SAFe). • Experience documenting business requirements, including business requirement specifications (BSR), workflow diagrams, context diagrams, use cases, and user stories. • Understanding of user interfaces and common GUI approaches. • Experience working with business sponsors, product owners, government project managers, development teams, and end users at all organizational levels. • Must be a U.S. Citizen. • Must be able to pass a U.S. Federal Government background investigation and meet public trust requirements.
