📋 Description

• Make knowledge accessible to all students • Develop students’ cognitive capacity and respect for learning • Implement Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) • Foster students’ self-esteem, motivation, civic responsibility, and leadership • Develop teaching and instructional materials and strategies • Plan for instructional assistants and parental volunteers in classroom management • Implement school policies • Communicate with parents about students’ academic and discipline issues • Deliver instruction across subjects including foreign languages, ESL, math, science, social studies, technology, and health • Determine instructional techniques, strategies, methods, and adapt curriculum to meet student needs • Develop activities, resources, lesson plans, and substitute teaching plans aligned with learning objectives and school guides • Develop, analyze, adjust, and implement ILPs based on student assessments • Assess and evaluate student performance, behavior, progress, and comprehension • Maintain confidentiality of protected student and staff information • Contribute to professional growth and curriculum planning • Work collaboratively to achieve the purposes of the school program • Maintain a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning • Meet regular and predictable attendance requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Post Bachelors in Education from an accredited college or university, or meets Highly Qualified requirements per the Arizona Department of Education • Valid State Teaching Certificate from any state; AZ Preferred • Appropriate endorsements may be required depending on the area of instruction, or passed appropriate AEPA or NES proficiency exams • Satisfactory criminal background check with current Active AZ Department of Public Safety (DPS) IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card • Professional verification of successful classroom teacher performance and/or student teaching experience • Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered • Ability to use instructional adaptive technology tools in online courses • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) • Proficiency with technology, computers and Microsoft Office Suite • Proven written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational and planning skills • Ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis • Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, and use hands, arms and fingers to input data, handle, feel or reach; may occasionally push or lift up to 15 lbs
