📋 Description

• Lead technical onboarding and implementation of new client environments • Architect, implement, and document secure technical solutions for client infrastructures • Develop and execute technical work plans, implementation plans, and client transition strategies • Build and configure cloud SaaS solutions, virtual servers, networking equipment, desktops, laptops, and other business technologies • Perform cloud, infrastructure, security, and technology assessments and provide recommendations • Deliver infrastructure, cloud, networking, cybersecurity, and application projects according to scope, timelines, and technical standards • Identify project risks, technical dependencies, and roadblocks and communicate them proactively • Provide project updates on technical strategy, progress, adjustments, risks, and next steps • Participate in client-facing meetings, technical discovery sessions, project reviews, and implementation discussions • Respond to client questions and provide technical guidance throughout onboarding and project lifecycles • Serve as a technical escalation point and subject matter expert for engineers and clients • Troubleshoot and resolve complex implementation and client-transition issues • Collaborate with colleagues, clients, vendors, and project stakeholders • Research, evaluate, design, and test technologies supporting client objectives and company strategy • Improve implementation efficiency, consistency, and scalability through automation, scripting, documentation, and toolsets • Create and maintain technical documentation, project records, procedures, and client environment information • Cross-train, coach, mentor, and upskill Project Engineers, Systems Engineers, and interns • Follow technical standards, security requirements, documentation expectations, and change-control procedures • Perform other duties assigned by the manager

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant IT experience in desktop support, systems engineering, systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or project engineering • Experience leading or contributing to technical implementations, infrastructure projects, client migrations, or new-client onboarding initiatives • Strong end-user and desktop support experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and home or remote-office networking • Strong experience implementing and supporting Microsoft 365 technologies, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Intune, Conditional Access, and Microsoft Entra ID • Experience implementing and supporting cloud-based platforms and collaboration technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Box, Dropbox, or similar solutions • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Group Policy, identity management, and email-flow troubleshooting • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure licensing • Experience implementing and supporting enterprise networking equipment, including Palo Alto or Cisco firewalls, Cisco switches, and Cisco, Meraki, or Ubiquiti wireless access points • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, DMZ, WAN, DHCP, DNS, routing protocols, switching, and firewalls • Experience implementing and supporting cybersecurity and email-security products such as Mimecast, Sophos, Symantec, Proofpoint, or similar technologies • Ability to use Microsoft PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, or similar tools to automate Microsoft 365 administration and implementation tasks • Ability to assess technical environments, identify risks or gaps, and recommend practical solutions • Ability to create and execute technical project plans while managing multiple priorities and deadlines • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to work effectively and independently within a remote environment while remaining collaborative • Ability to work Eastern Time business hours • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced environment • Desirable: Managed Service Provider experience • Desirable: Experience supporting financial services, hedge fund, investment management, or alternative investment clients • Desirable: Familiarity with Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, FactSet, and Capital IQ • Desirable: Experience designing or supporting public-cloud environments • Desirable: Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or related discipline; equivalent professional experience considered • Desirable: Experience as a technical lead, escalation point, or mentor • Desirable: Strong client-service mindset and client relationship skills • Desirable: Ability to complete projects according to scope, timeline, and budget • Desirable: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills • Desirable: Goal-oriented approach and creative problem-solving ability • Desirable: Ability to anticipate challenges, take ownership, and communicate proactively • Desirable: Commitment to documentation, process improvement, knowledge sharing, and continued technical development
