📋 Description

• Analyze business needs, map business processes, and translate requirements into functional specifications • Design and implement complex process automation solutions bridging the Appian low-code platform and PeopleSoft ERP • Enable users to interact with PeopleSoft data and workflows directly within Appian interfaces • Conduct requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders and subject matter experts • Analyze and document business processes using BPMN standards • Identify process inefficiencies, gaps, and automation opportunities using Appian • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria • Collaborate with Appian Architects and Developers on workflows, data models, and user interfaces • Support Agile delivery through backlog refinement, sprint planning, and requirements clarification • Create test cases and scenarios and support system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) • Ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations and organizational standards • Analyze and ensure business processes and integration points align with PeopleSoft modules and Appian workflow • Run workshops and working sessions to establish clarity and consensus on functional and technical requirements • Produce process maps, user stories, functional specifications, and technical guides in governed document repositories

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Appian versions 24.x or higher • U.S. Citizenship • A minimum of a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one • Strong understanding of business process modeling (BPMN) and process improvement methodologies • Experience working on Appian or other BPM/low-code platform projects • Ability to create clear and detailed requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills • Appian Certified Analyst is highly preferred • Familiarity with Appian features, including process models, interfaces, records, and data types • Experience with data modeling and workflow design • Appian Analyst, Designer, or Practitioner certification is nice to have • Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar backlog-management tools • Attention to detail with a focus on delivering secure, high-quality solutions • Must reside in AL, CA, CT, FL, GA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, NC, OR, RI, SC, TX, VA, DC, WV, or NJ • Travel up to 10%
