📋 Description

• Supervise the day-to-day deployment and remote and occasional in-person support of technical resources for North American customers • Oversee technical support for midscale custom projects • Manage equipment upgrades in collaboration with other Comecer entities • Maintain customer relationships and manage change for installed equipment • Act as liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure contract execution and customer satisfaction • Initiate continuous improvement initiatives and manage KPIs • Act as subject matter expert for Controls software issues and handle engineering escalations • Coordinate service and installation resources for project execution • Manage customer escalations and problem-solving exercises • Manage departmental ISO procedures and participate in audits • Coach and mentor team members and manage direct reports • Provide weekly and monthly performance reporting and implement improvement initiatives • Serve as key customer contact for assigned projects and document project events and issues • Provide technical support for custom and critical customer installations • Coordinate equipment upgrades for smooth execution and customer satisfaction • Handle warranty and non-warranty service opportunities with customers and the service department • Conduct needs assessments with installation teams and provide feedback to Comecer SPA • Assist with quotations and attend customer pre-order visits when required • Manage project risks, mitigation plans, and forecasting • Support installation, validation, and troubleshooting • Communicate proactively with customers and provide project updates • Create training documentation and practices with installation and service teams • Maintain accurate project, configuration, activity, and contract records • Hold regular team communication meetings and maintain team morale and efficiency • Manage projects and teams in accordance with Comecer procedures • Advocate for customers, address concerns, and escalate issues when required • Partner with account managers and assist Sales Engineering with quotations and customer interactions • Collaborate with Service and Quality Manager on budgets and forecasts • Liaise with Comecer Project Managers and Operations personnel • Recruit, train, inspire, and manage technical personnel • Demonstrate HSE leadership and ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance • Conduct hazard assessments, inspections, and audits • Ensure employee HSE training and implement corrective measures for unsafe conditions

🎯 Requirements

• Experience supervising Controls Systems Software Engineers and Engineers embedded at customer facilities • Expertise in Controls software-related issues • Ability to manage technical support for midscale custom projects and equipment upgrades • Ability to coordinate service, installation, engineering, sales engineering, project management, operations, and quality teams • Experience managing customer escalations and conducting problem-solving exercises • Knowledge of departmental ISO procedures, guidelines, templates, and best practices • Ability to comply with company policies, including Time & Attendance and Expenses • Ability to coach, mentor, recruit, train, inspire, and manage technical personnel • Experience managing direct reports and performance feedback • Ability to provide weekly and monthly KPI reporting • Experience supporting custom midscale or key customer installations • Ability to conduct needs assessments and provide feedback through ECRs • Ability to prepare presales analyses, Statements of Work, quotations, budgets, and forecasts • Ability to manage project risks and develop risk mitigation plans • Ability to document project execution details, configurations, activities, and contracts • Ability to manage projects and project teams according to company procedures • Ability to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements • Ability to carry out hazard assessments, inspections, and audits • Ability to implement corrective measures for unsafe conditions and acts • Ability to provide information, instruction, and supervision to employees • Compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct
