📋 Description

• Establish and enforce child support obligations of responsible parents • Coordinate child support activities with legal, judicial, and public organizations • Communicate child support obligations and necessary information to ensure obligations are met • Communicate with clients and other constituents via telephone, email, correspondence, and direct contact • Obtain details and document detailed information • Perform other professional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor • Report to the Child Support Customer Services Representative Supervisor • Support DCSS activities locating non-custodial parents, establishing paternity and support orders, enforcing and modifying support obligations, and collecting and distributing child support payments

🎯 Requirements

• Must be fluent in both Spanish and English • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; or high school diploma/GED and two (2) years of direct job-related experience; or one (1) year of experience at the lower-level Child Support Customer Services Representative 1 (SST090) or position equivalent • High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of direct job-related experience; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Child Support Cust Svc Rep 1 (SST090) or position equivalent • May be subject to pre-employment drug screening, education verification, reference, motor vehicle records, and criminal background checks • Educational credentials must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE) • Must provide verified degrees, diplomas, and licensure where applicable • May be required to assist in meeting department emergency responsibilities as a term and condition of employment
