• Operationalize the overall Market Access strategy and ensure patients have timely access to Autolus therapies • Secure robust coverage and reimbursement for Autolus products through regional, national, and government payers • Collaborate with center engagement and account management to onboard treatment centers and support timely patient access • Develop and manage strategic relationships with commercial and government payers within the assigned geography • Implement the approved pre-launch payer education plan • Present approved product education and health economic information to key customers • Assess payer and policy landscapes, including legislation, payer class management, and advocacy • Obtain product coverage within assigned accounts and identify and mitigate access challenges • Partner with Medical Affairs and Global Market Access on clinical and outcomes concerns • Educate authorized treatment centers on coverage, billing, coding, and reimbursement • Work with Autolus Patient Support on payer coverage policies and coverage questions • Implement the strategic and tactical market access plan within the assigned geography • Partner with field account management after launch to educate on payers and address questions or concerns
• Demonstrated successful experience with National and Regional payers in Commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare • Sustained track record of access and reimbursement achievement in cell therapy, gene therapy, or hematology / oncology • Excellent strategic and business acumen skills, with demonstrated ability to successfully partner with payers • Knowledge of medical benefit and inpatient and outpatient economics preferred • Extensive experience with private and public payers across all settings of care • Extensive understanding of hematology / oncology clinical landscape and cell therapy business • Strong ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally • Willingness and ability to work hands-on with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment • Experience onboarding cell therapies with treatment centers highly preferred • Bachelor’s degree or higher • 10+ years hematology / oncology experience in payer relations and market access • Deep knowledge of CART/Cell Therapy access, reimbursement, and policy dynamics • In-depth therapeutic and clinical knowledge in hematologic malignancies • Proven leadership experience and capabilities • Ability to problem solve, demonstrate flexibility, and think strategically • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word • Resilient in high-pressure environments • Approximately 50% travel required
