📋 Description

• Document, develop, and maintain cloud implementations focused on network infrastructure • Code and implement designs provided by Cloud Architects and Security Teams • Support Availity’s AWS environment and perform development and operations work for a multi-cloud environment • Engineer and support multi-cloud and on-premises infrastructure • Provide observability and reporting for network-related infrastructure • Use AWS CLI and GitLab to orchestrate builds • Monitor JIRA throughout sprint cycles • Participate in daily stand-ups and status check-in meetings • Build and maintain infrastructure as code • Read and understand system and functional requirements • Write technical specifications and thorough work documentation • Report requirements gaps to Technical Leads and Cloud Architects • Scope project time and required resources • Review project scope and timeline estimates with senior staff • Collaborate with Cloud Architects and business partners on time and resource estimates • Consult with Cloud Architects on testing plans and debugging errors • Support escalation incidents and fulfill support on-call duties • Collaborate effectively in a predominantly remote workplace

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience • 5–7 years of progressive experience with cloud implementations and infrastructure as code • 4+ years of hands-on AWS experience • 3+ years of experience with Palo Alto firewalls • Experience with IPSec VPN, dynamic routing, load balancing, network access control, wireless, and zone-based firewalls • Knowledge of infrastructure as code, Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Jenkins • Bash and Python scripting • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies • Experience with AWS and common AWS services • Experience with monitoring and logging solutions • Comfortable using Git • Ability to write detailed technical documentation • Strong technical, process, and problem-solving proficiency • Excellent communication skills • Collaborative attitude • CCSP, AWS Cloud, F5, or Palo Alto certifications are a plus, not required • Must pass a drug test before beginning employment • Must meet U.S. employment eligibility verification requirements • Must be able to use a camera for all virtual meetings
