• Maintain relationships with accounts by visiting customer sites within the assigned territory • Sell products and services and act as the post-sale customer point of contact • Focus on customer satisfaction, retention, and business growth • Engage customers by phone, chat, email, video conferencing, and face-to-face meetings • Respond to client inquiries and guide customers on appropriate products and services • Execute sales strategy and generate sales reports • Identify opportunities to increase sales volume while ensuring service levels are met • Build trust and develop strong customer relationships • Meet or exceed sales and margin objectives • Develop awareness and sales of the VWR Private Label range • Implement tailored strategies across defined accounts • Drive new and existing opportunities through territory management and frequent customer calls • Identify customer trends and sales opportunities • Use internal, global, cross-functional, and external resources to achieve targets • Use the VWR CRM database to manage customer relationships, interactions, and information • Plan, forecast, and achieve territory/account objectives and KPIs • Perform other duties as assigned
• Bachelor degree preferred • 2+ years sales experience required • Candidates located Dallas-Fort Worth area preferred • Fluent in oral and written English; preferably 1 or 2 more languages • Understanding of company products, promotions, services, and solution offerings • In-depth understanding of relationship types and buyer behaviors • Broad understanding of VWR Product & Service portfolio • In-depth understanding of VWR functions and their role • Ability to structure content appropriately for the audience and objective • Ability to develop mutually beneficial customer relationships and drive strategic conversations • Excellent listening and organizational skills • Ability to manage various buyer types and personalities • Ability to synthesize and integrate sales data • Ability to work independently and manage time and territory • Ability to negotiate large account pricing strategies and contracts • Ability to handle difficult situations effectively • Must be willing to travel to customer locations 5 days per week • Must hold a valid Driver’s License
