📋 Description

• Manage deliverables and ensure compliance with company, GAAP, CAS and FAR procedures • Prepare, maintain, develop, and interpret monthly financial statements and supplemental reports for senior management • Process and reconcile receivables, billing, payroll, accounts payable, contract revenue calculations, fixed assets, and general ledger • Prepare financial statements and support compliance initiatives, including ASC 606 revenue accounting • Utilize and optimize the Deltek Costpoint accounting system, including planning and business intelligence modules • Support audits and DCAA compliance • Maintain the company balance sheet and manage cash forecasting and monthly bank reconciliations • Manage relationships with staff and auditors and respond to requests • Assist with indirect rate structures, budgets, forecasts, incurred cost submissions, and general ledger • Resolve complex organizational issues • Review AP, AR, billing, payroll, and internal controls • Research billed and unbilled receivables and revenue recognition calculations • Identify improvements to practices and procedures and collaborate cross-functionally to manage change • Support federal and state tax returns, extensions, and payments • Conduct special projects as assigned • Identify revenue-generating and cost-saving opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• US Citizenship Required • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with general ledger, job costing and GAAP compliance • CPA preferred-Bachelor’s degree in accounting with equivalent combination of education & experience • Experience in banking transactions • Proficiency with Deltek Costpoint Accounting or similar government approved accounting systems • Proficiency across Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills • Strong problem-solving, analysis aptitude, and consultative approach • Ability to constructively pivot and prioritize based on business needs • Strong oral and written communication skills required – ability to communicate financial analysis to non-financial audience • Ability to operate with a high level of discretion • Strong organization and program management skills • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
