📋 Description

• Conduct desktop Safety and Health Program, Policies, and Procedure Audits (“Manual Audits”) on suppliers in the Avetta Platform. • Assess supplier safety and health programs, procedures, and training documentation against applicable federal, state, provincial, and industry requirements. • Assist customers with closing audit gaps or deficiencies. • Provide recommendations and guidance to suppliers addressing regulatory requirements. • Perform customer verifications and audit closure assistance. • Respond promptly to customer inquiries. • Record inquiries, comments, and complaints in Contractor Account Notes. • Forward customer complaints or concerns to the Audit Manager or designated safety professional. • Attend training, meetings, or seminars and travel up to 30% of the time. • Conduct 50+ audits per month and meet Avetta audit quality, SLA, and response-time metrics.

🎯 Requirements

• Fluent in English; Spanish or French fluency preferred. • Ability to interpret and make decisions based on regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and operator requirements. • Ability to learn online software systems. • Working PC knowledge, Windows preferred, and related applications. • Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and adapt to workload fluctuations and intensive deadlines. • Good written and oral communication skills. • Ability to analyze problems and solve problems. • Ability to read and interpret statistical data, information, and documents. • Attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to communicate and understand in one-on-one or group situations. • Ability to interact with staff members and others encountered during work. • Ability to learn and apply new information or skills. • Ability to continuously learn and apply federal and state legislation; foundational knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, DOT, Maritime, Shipyard, or related legislation preferred. • Reliable transportation required. • Regular and predictable attendance. • Travel up to 30% of the time. • 1–5 years of relevant safety-profession work experience, safety/environmental internship experience, or contractor prequalification verification experience strongly preferred. • Two-year or four-year degree or Safety certification from an accredited college or university is a plus, not required. • OSHA 30-hour completion (Construction and/or General). • Experience with Environmental, O&G, MSHA, or Maritime regulations is a plus. • Safety and Health Program development or revision experience is a plus. • Working knowledge of relevant industries served is a plus.
