📋 Description

• Drive utilization of AVITA products through education and serve as an advisor to clinical customers regarding AVITA formularies, protocols, policies, and procedures • Implement internal and external educational programs advancing medical, clinical, scientific, and economic understanding of therapies and indications aligned with company interests • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs to identify and develop clinical educational resources for key AVITA accounts • Serve as the customer’s clinical expert on the RECELL System, including indications, device setup, skin processing, dressing changes, and aftercare • Provide hands-on training sessions, surgical case support, and dressing change support • Clinically support and train on future devices and products • Professionally represent AVITA in the field and ensure customer visibility and satisfaction • Support cases outside assigned territories as needed • Work with Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs to identify, report, and advise on customer needs, product performance, and potential sales opportunities • Execute clinical education programs for priority and target accounts to increase knowledge, product utilization, and account revenue • Liaise with physicians and nurses regarding clinical needs, patient management direction, and product effectiveness • Serve as a field resource to Marketing during product development, new product introductions, and promotions • Participate in national, regional, and local conferences to increase company visibility and credibility • Meet quarterly with the CTS Director to review clinical performance, target account progress, and competitive landscape • Operate within defined budgets and corporate policies and procedures • Perform administrative duties using Salesforce, Insperity, Concur, and other systems

🎯 Requirements

• BS, NP, PA, RN/BSN, RN/MSN or other relevant degrees or certifications, with active license and in good standing • Must be able to be vendor credentialed for all hospital burn & trauma centers, including Parallon and HealthTrust Verified Professionals • Acute burn care experience required • Hands-on bedside clinical burn unit experience and/or medical device industry experience a plus • Demonstrated experience managing projects effectively from start to completion • First-hand experience working with customers, opinion leaders, operating room staff, and broad healthcare industry exposure a plus • Ability to travel extensively (approximately 60–70%) within the assigned territory, including weekly overnights via air and/or vehicle travel • Ability to cover accounts outside the assigned territory as needed • Previous experience with education and training in a clinical setting • Clinical skill set including drive and self-motivation, strong interpersonal and communication skills, planning, organization, closing, delivery, and autonomous work • Excellent interpersonal skills interfacing with burn surgeons, operating room staff, burn/trauma/ICU nurses, and sales staff • Entrepreneurial spirit, competitive drive, and strong work ethic • Initiative, follow-through, collaboration across cross-functional teams, and ability to extend beyond expressed requirements as needed • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to communicate product-related clinical information and evidence clearly and concisely • Ability to listen effectively and communicate in formal and informal settings using written and verbal methods • Ability to maintain positive and cooperative communication and collaboration with employees, customers, and contractors • Cross-functional ability to work with teams and lead initiatives • Ability to build and maintain colleague relationships through idea sharing, clinical recommendations, leadership, self-motivation, and initiative • Ability to listen, identify key issues, use sound judgment, and form innovative solutions • Sound judgment and decision-making capability • Ability to manage multiple projects, assess priorities, create detailed action plans, and organize and schedule meetings and tasks effectively • Ability to plan and implement growth strategies within focused accounts in partnership with Sales Management • Ability to comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, AVITA policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments • Professional and ethical conduct • Ability to work proactively and carry out tasks without detailed instructions • High level of clinical, market, and competitive product knowledge • Ability to meet physical demands including sitting, standing, walking, repetitive hand motions, and occasional lifting/moving up to 40 pounds • Competency with universal precautions for infection control from bloodborne pathogens and infectious diseases • Respiratory Protection Program positions require medical clearance and a passing fit test to wear a respirator; facial hair affecting the seal is not allowable • AVITA Medical is an E-Verify participant
