📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of financial solutions within Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations • Conduct fit/gap analyses, develop design specifications, minimize customization, and design integrations with financial systems • Assess, refine, automate, and optimize General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, and Project Accounting processes • Identify opportunities for AI, machine learning, intelligent automation, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and adjacent technologies • Oversee the full lifecycle of finance-related D365 FO projects from requirements gathering through deployment and post-implementation support • Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, finance teams, developers, data and analytics teams, and other cross-functional partners • Advise finance leadership on ERP, automation, data platforms, AI, Microsoft Copilot, and Finance roadmap capabilities • Ensure financial data and reporting accuracy, integrity, governance, security, and actionable insights • Build and enhance financial reports, dashboards, data management processes, predictive insights, and AI-assisted decision support • Provide training and documentation to finance teams and end-users; mentor the functional analysis team • Serve as the point of contact for D365 FO finance matters, update senior leadership, and lead financial activities related to mergers and acquisitions • Partner with Finance, IT, and Enterprise Architecture leaders to deliver AI-enabled capabilities and establish responsible AI practices • Stay current on D365 Finance, Power Platform, Copilot, AI, Microsoft cloud capabilities, accounting rules, and regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and a strong track record designing and implementing finance-related systems • Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and D365 Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets • Experience creating and implementing legal entities, establishing intercompany trade, managing financial consolidations, currency revaluation, and defining financial dimensions and account structure configuration • Familiarity with GAAP, IFRS, and revenue recognition • Experience designing and implementing electronic reporting solutions and building reports in Financial Reporter • Proven ability to manage complex projects from requirements gathering through execution • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and/or Scaled Agile methodologies • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Familiarity integrating D365 FO with enterprise applications, ERP systems, and legacy platforms • Experience evaluating or implementing AI-enabled business solutions, Microsoft Copilot capabilities, intelligent workflow automation, predictive analytics, or process optimization technologies • Solid understanding of Microsoft Power Platform, Azure services, Microsoft Fabric, Copilot capabilities, and modern data and AI technologies • D365 certifications in Finance or relevant modules are preferred • Some roles may require legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment
