📋 Description

• Serve as the primary field-based scientific liaison and Medical Affairs point of contact for thought leaders and healthcare professionals. • Establish and maintain scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the assigned territory. • Exchange accurate, fair, balanced, and evidence-based scientific, clinical, and therapeutic information. • Collect, interpret, and communicate competitive intelligence, clinical trends, treatment patterns, and investigator perspectives. • Support company-sponsored and investigator-initiated trials through site identification, feasibility, initiation, patient accrual discussions, and investigator communication. • Support adverse-event management education and respond to unsolicited medical information requests. • Represent Azurity at scientific congresses, symposia, advisory boards, and investigator meetings. • Help plan, execute, and facilitate advisory boards, consultant meetings, and other scientific engagements. • Deliver scientific presentations and educational sessions to healthcare providers. • Collaborate with Clinical Development, Operations, Commercial, and strategic alliance partners. • Maintain therapeutic, clinical, product, disease-state, competitive-product, and scientific-literature knowledge. • Support internal scientific training and develop field-based resources and training materials. • Manage the assigned territory and comply with Medical Affairs SOPs and regulatory, legal, and compliance guidelines. • Travel up to 70% within the US for conferences, KOL engagement, and field activities.

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced terminal degree (PharmD, MD, DO, DNP) or other advanced medical degree (NP, PA, RN, etc.) is required. • 2–3 years of relevant work experience in MSL, clinical, fellowship, research, or related pharmaceutical industry work is required. • Knowledge or experience in Radiology, Neurology, neuro-oncology, or related academic, community, or specialty care settings is preferred. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to deliver effective and influential oral presentations. • Strategic thinking and geographical management skills. • Deep scientific expertise and ability to translate expert feedback into actionable insights. • Ability to develop relationships and build networks. • Ability to work independently. • Excellent organization and decision-making abilities. • Knowledge of healthcare systems, medical landscapes, regulatory and payer environments, public health, and industry trends. • Proficiency in digital tools. • Ability to travel frequently up to 70%, including occasional weekends, and fly or drive to meetings. • Must reside within the Northeast territory or within a 30-minute commute from the nearest territory border. • Must be able to sit for long periods, frequently stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear; occasionally climb stairs or ride elevators; lift or move up to 25 pounds; and operate keyboards, telephones, and handheld devices.
