📋 Description

• Lead Baker Tilly and client resources through strategy definition, future-state visioning, target operating model, roadmap development, and transformation project delivery • Use finance, accounting, industry, and operational knowledge to align client organizations with strategic goals and establish target operating models • Build operational metrics, roles and responsibilities, and organizational structures • Develop and standardize finance processes, manage contract financial compliance, and document policies and procedures • Define reporting structures and effective governance mechanisms • Evaluate current state, identify gaps, and provide strategic recommendations to optimize and mature operating models • Develop, manage, and measure project approaches and plans across analyze, design, build, test, and deploy phases • Elicit and define requirements through interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, and site visits • Ensure compliance with federal financial regulations and mitigate financial, operational, and regulatory risks • Manage and implement multiple projects, coordinating staffing resources, deadlines, and end-user expectations • Document business cases, business requirements, implementation plans, and project requirements • Manage third-party vendor relationships • Liaise among executive committee members, stakeholders, and development teams while identifying and mitigating project risks and issues • Support practice development, go-to-market activities, delivery methodology standards, and team development • Build internal and external client and community relationships • Support team members’ and clients’ professional growth through the Baker Tilly Value Architect model

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field • Minimum of twelve (12) years of related experience • Experience managing senior-level client relationships and working across an organization with multiple stakeholders • Extensive finance and accounting expertise with a proven track record in helping clients optimize and develop their finance organizations • Ability to lead and supervise others and provide exceptional client service • Ability to decompose scope into detailed activities and deliverables and conduct work package handoff • Ability to manage multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously • Creative problem-solving ability gained through prior experience, education, or training • Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication, and highly developed Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills • Project experience with full lifecycle application development, including requirements gathering, use case development, system analysis and design, integration, testing, and deployment • Experience with enterprise technology system implementation and management • Ability to travel as needed and work outside of core business hours for client engagements • Project/program management certification (e.g. PMP, PgMP) and/or Agile certification (e.g. PMI-ACP, CSM, PSM, SAFe POPM) is a plus
