📋 Description

• Prepare attorney bills from printing Proformas/Prebills through final delivery by email or e-bill • Edit and format bills, research billing issues, and obtain necessary approvals • Assist lawyers and secretaries with client analysis, including time and billing reports • Collaborate with Billing, Pricing, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Conflicts teams • Maintain discounts and rates • Respond to billing lawyers' requests for historical information • Manage transfers of funds from escrow • Update temporary file statuses and billing addresses • Navigate vendor websites for invoice submission, accounts receivable review, and rate processing • Provide firm-wide time and billing application support

🎯 Requirements

• Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and problem-solving • Strong verbal and written communication abilities • Keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently • Ability to work collaboratively and independently • At least two years of high-volume time and billing experience in a professional services environment • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills • Ability to communicate effectively with partners, associates, secretaries, accounting, and clients • Solid basic math skills • Demonstrated technology skills, including software applications • Ability to exercise independent judgment, reason logically, and make sound decisions • Ability to multitask without loss of efficiency or accuracy • Regular and predictable attendance • Ability to work beyond standard scheduled hours as needed • Previous law firm or legal environment experience preferred • College degree preferred
