📋 Description

• Lead the IT Manufacturing domain for Barry-Wehmiller’s Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations global program • Analyze, research, plan, and design solutions within the Manufacturing domain • Coordinate with Architects to ensure an integrated and coherent systems design • Provide architectural and application expertise throughout blueprinting, development, testing, implementation, rollouts, and support • Govern design standards, standard system setup, and manufacturing processes • Evaluate requests for system modifications and approve, modify, or reject changes with Solutions Analysts and the CoE • Collaborate with external vendors and partners to optimize the technical landscape • Establish, follow, and document design processes, including comprehensive testing procedures • Assist users with testing and adoption of process improvements • Assist with corrective actions for Tier 3 D365 system issues • Create documentation supporting process changes • Develop training aids or standard operating procedures when needed • Provide project support for new implementations and rollouts • Support continuous process improvements • Support the systems architecture team with significant software upgrades • Coordinate domain development with the Architects group and Business Leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required • 5+ years of direct experience leading architecture, configuration, and development for the D365 Finance & Operations Manufacturing Systems domain in a multinational company • Strong experience in Production Planning (MRP/MPS), Capacity Planning/Leveling, Production Scheduling, and Manufacturing Order Management • Experience with production floor execution, kitting, and raw material staging • Experience with Product/Job Costing • Demand/Supply Planning experience is a plus • Experience with discrete, engineer-to-order capital equipment manufacturing businesses • Direct experience with the full ERP implementation cycle, from needs analysis through rollout and stabilization • Direct experience leveraging and integrating enterprise-level ERP, Business Intelligence, and consolidation systems • Experience in systems governance and establishing development processes and controls • Experience leveraging SaaS-based systems • Experience with Bluestar Axtension, Docentric AX, or similar document-generation package preferred • Certified Microsoft Dynamics 365 Manufacturing professional preferred but not mandatory • Fluent in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Power BI • Ability to research and select appropriate technologies and partners • Strong commercial acumen for assessing options and vendors • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences • Ability to work across IT technical platforms to coordinate resolution of business problems • Experience influencing cross-functional teams without formal authority • Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing others • Must be able, available, and willing to work more than 40 hours per week, including scheduled and unscheduled overtime • Moderate domestic and occasional international travel required • Applicants may be subject to pre-employment screening
