• Install, service, program, troubleshoot, and support capital equipment within the paper industry • Program, debug, and troubleshoot PLC systems and other automation controls • Troubleshoot customer equipment issues onsite and provide timely solutions • Assist with onsite installations, commissioning, and machinery upgrades • Conduct routine and emergency servicing and diagnose electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues • Train customer operations and maintenance personnel on safety, PLC systems, and best practices • Maintain installation reports, programming changes, and service documentation • Use assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, PLC ladder logic, machine manuals, and technical procedures for installations and adjustments • Detect and report defective or faulty materials and equipment • Provide technical guidance for installations and PLC programming • Independently coordinate and book business travel, manage travel logistics, and submit expense reports • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, Controls, or a related field from an accredited institution • Hands-on experience in programming, debugging, and troubleshooting PLCs • Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and control systems • Good mechanical aptitude and customer relations skills • Ability to read and interpret schematics, prints, assembly layouts, and ladder logic • Proficiency in MS Office • Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a valid passport • Ability to travel extensively, including overnight stays and extended periods away from home • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted; greater than 50 pounds with assistance • Ability to work in customer facilities exposed to dirt, oil, and grease • Ability to perform standing, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crawling • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently with general direction
• Extensive training onsite at one of our Wisconsin facilities with housing provided for approximately 3 months • When not traveling or working on a customer assignment, Field Service Team Members are not expected to report to an office • Travel schedules are planned in advance to provide flexibility and predictable time off between assignments • Field Service Team Members get to keep all travel rewards (hotel, airline, rental car) • International travel opportunities may also be available based on business needs and the employee’s interest and availability
