📋 Description

• Provide administration, operational support, and monitoring for customer-facing digital health software applications and platforms deployed on Baxter's Azure cloud platform • Drive strategies for 24x7 service availability and business continuity • Manage and administer Azure resources, including virtual machines, databases, and networking components • Define and document operating procedures for security, privacy, and compliance standards • Manage disaster recovery and business continuity planning processes • Define and refine Operations SLAs and establish non-functional requirements • Establish infrastructure and application monitoring dashboards and automated notification-routing workflows • Define measurable KPIs and identify improvement opportunities • Standardize site metrics and report on SLAs, availability, capacity utilization, service metrics, and cost utilization • Collaborate with DevOps Engineers to automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes • Participate in a weekly on-call rotation for after-hours, weekend, and holiday support

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) • Prior working experience in Site Reliability Engineering managing cloud-based infrastructure and applications • Enterprise-related engineering experience in 24x7 uptime and regulated environments • Proven experience in product, platform, and system planning and operations • Proven experience in Azure or AWS administration and operations leveraging Azure/AWS monitoring services • Working knowledge of cloud, encryption, IPsec, VLANs, VPNs, routing, WAF/firewalls, proxy services, LAN/WAN connectivity, and advanced security and threat protection • Experience with systems administration in Windows and Linux environments • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell and Bash • Residency in a West Coast state • Ability to work within Pacific Time Zone business hours • Participation in a weekly on-call rotation, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays as needed • Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable
