• Work with producers on new business opportunities • Work with the Account Manager to ensure the group is onboarded in a timely, comprehensive manner • Work with Account Manager, Marketing, and Tech teams to provide all customer deliverables • Formulate marketing strategy with the customers and communicate details to the marketing team • Introduce B&B products or services that further the customer’s benefits goals • Coordinate with Marketing/Tech team to establish timelines, deliverables • Communicate with the Account Manager to establish open enrollment timelines • Review all existing plans and accompanying plan documents • Identify gaps in coverage, compliance issues, recommended plan changes or enhancements • Meet with carrier reps, executives, and underwriters to establish relationships • Advise customers on all matters related to their benefits and resolve escalated issues • Accountable for ensuring all IO responsibilities are met for their customers.
• A minimum of a 4-year degree or equivalent work experience is required. • 9+ years of employee benefits experience with a thorough understanding and knowledge of employee benefits. • 4+ years financial experience. • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. • Well-versed with level and self-funded groups • Familiarity with complex benefit issues • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong analytical and critical thinking ability • Ability to work independently. • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
