📋 Description

• Analyze and resolve technical system and application issues • Document findings and recommend effective solutions to support business operations • Oversee the ongoing operation and maintenance of the IBM iSeries platform • Lead projects from definition through implementation • Manage resources efficiently and ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule • Design application solutions for existing applications, software and operating systems • Maintain current working knowledge of system enhancements • Collaborate with network staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems • Gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing IBM iSeries systems • Develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging IBM iSeries systems for business processes • Design and develop manual and automated procedures to solve business opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience • 5+ years of programming experience in iSeries • Strong proficiency in RPG ILE, RPG, CL, Query, DBU, SQL and DDS • Excellent communications skills, teamwork, and independent motivation • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities • WebSmart development tool is a plus
