📋 Description

• Deliver automated solutions for software processes • Plan, organize, coordinate, and track testing activities for successful project deployments • Support clients, developers, and testers with technical skills, expertise, and application knowledge • Provide knowledge transfer and training to the test team as needed • Perform or participate in functional, database, systems, network, application, hardware, software, and post-implementation testing • Identify opportunities to improve quality in software, service, and business processes • Identify bugs and quality issues • Collaborate with business units, development teams, project managers, customers, senior management, and vendors • Report and document defects and work across functional teams to resolve them • Collect, analyze, and share test data • Capture test cases, coordinate automated testing, and report outcomes • Develop and test databases, queries, views, reports, and dashboards • Document test strategies, solutions, and implementations • Conduct defect triage meetings and provide testing estimates • Create and implement test plans with users and testing groups • Troubleshoot defects and enhancements, track production issues, escalate issues, and support post-implementation testing • Ensure code and tests meet quality standards; report, track, retest, and close defects • Train users on test scenarios and testing practices • Maintain Enterprise QA standards and processes • Keep customers and project teams informed about quality issues and enhancement requests • Analyze and test new software releases and versions; participate in vendor evaluations

🎯 Requirements

• Residency in or relocation to Louisiana is preferred • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Management required, or four years of related work experience in lieu of a degree • 5 years of quality assurance related work experience • Professional systems or programming background • Database technologies and SQL required • Automated testing experience, including planning and conducting functional and performance testing, preferred • Experience testing web, client-server, infrastructure, business process, or mainframe applications preferred • Experience with systems installation and maintenance, automated testing tools, and QA methodologies preferred • Experience with Microsoft TFS/Azure DevOps preferred • Experience with Epic Tapestry and Cheers preferred • Ability to analyze and solve logical problems, including those involving mathematics and statistics • Certifications in software quality or technical equivalent preferred • Must comply with laws and regulations associated with duties and responsibilities • Must pass background and pre-employment drug screening; offer contingent on satisfactory drug testing results
